Stranded On A Deserted Island | Adelle’s Favorite Products
Each month, we are featuring a different staff member’s favorite item picks. Stay tuned at the end of each month for some skincare pearls.
Part 2 in our series, “Stranded on a Deserted Island”
At Honet Dermatology/Cosmetic, we often talk and think about skin care products—what we love, why we love them, and why some just leave us saying, “meh”. We talk about them among ourselves and we talk about them to patients. Although taking care of skin is our job, each and every one of us is actually a little bit obsessed about makeup and obsessive about taking care of our own skin and making our skin look the best it can be. We sell a lot of products in the office and we use them, too. But the following is a list of skin care or beauty items that we can’t live without—the stranded-on-a-deserted-island kind, the can’t-live-without kind.
Adelle’s Favorites
Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer Broad-Spectrum SPF 20
Available at Nordstrom, Macy’s, and Sephora
“This moisturizer provides the perfect amount of tint while still remaing natural, it’s never too much color for my face. I love that the moisturizer is lightweight while providing flawless coverage. It’s perfect for everyday use, and the SPF 20 is an added plus!”
Bobbi Brown “Rich Lip Color” Lipstick
Available at Nordstrom, Sephora, and Macy’s
“Bobbi Brown’s “Rich Lip Color” is one of my favorite product lines that contains some of my signature lipcolors. This line has a wonderful selection of color options that are subtle and natural, but still intensely pigmented. I’m not a fan of matte lipsticks, so I love that this lipstick is hydrating and doesn’t leave my lips dry. No matter what color I wear, this lipstick is always long-lasting.”
